The words “Pay Trump Bribes Here” were projected over an entrance to the Trump International Hotel in Washington on the night of May 15.

Robin Bell, a Washington-based artist, took credit for the projection, saying on Twitter, “had a lot of fun projecting … on Trump hotel.”

Bell has previous form regarding this sort of thing: in November 2016, he projected the words “Trump Is a Pig” over the same doorway.

The projection also included the Title of Nobility, or Emoluments, Clause from the US Constitution, which prohibits US officials from accepting gifts from foreign states.
