Coming off a Grammy win for Best R&B Album in 2015, Toni Braxton's storied career just keeps on growing. With her own Lifetime movie, "Unbreak My Heart," documenting her career premiering tomorrow (Jan 23), Braxton stopped by Sway in the Morning to give us some behind the scenes stories of her early career.
From leaving her sisters behind to start her own solo career to her musical relationship with Babyface, Braxton speaks very candidly about how she made her start. Being silenced from speaking on label issues, Braxton, who is now free to speak out, mentions the help and advice she received from Prince.
Finding out in 2007 that she was battling lupus, we hear Braxton open up about her divorce and how "Love, Marriage, Divorce" came about.
