On Sway in the Morning, we like to help improve the quality of life; mentally, physically and spiritually. On this edition of First Aid with Kelly Kinkaid, we wrap up Breast Cancer Awareness month with special guest, executive director of the Susan Komen foundation, Linda Tantawi.
In our segment, Ms. Tantawi teaches us that 1/8 women will get breast cancer in their life, and stresses the importance of getting checked.
"Knowledge is power... if cancer is caught early, there is a 98% survival rate." She tells us on Sway in the Morning.
Watch above as she also gives us tips on how frequent women should have mammograms, plus ways to avoid breast cancer.
