In honor of Biggie's birthday, Lil Cease swung by Sway in the Morning and intimately opened up about the late great rappers and his classic Life After Death album.
He explained his favorite session was during the Notorious Thugs recording when Biggie kicked everyone out the room.
"That was the first time Big made everyone leave the room. Usually he'll do vocals while we're in the studio... He never used to make people leave. He didn't care about that. But it's something about this Biggie record where he wanted to focus and i don't think he wanted us to hear it until he was done."
Was it because of the style he chose to use? Sway asks. Cease agreed. Plus, he shares that verse only took 30 minutes to record.
Watch above as Lil Cease also elaborates on Biggie's style of never-writing.
"It's not like you would find a paper with that on. There's no paper. He wrote nothing done from Life After death... you would not find a single piece of paper with a rhyme from Life After Death."
