A humpback whale was found stuck in California’s Ventura Harbor on Saturday, May 20.

The 35-foot long animal was first spotted on Saturday. US Coast Guard and harbor staff launched an operation to coax the disorientated animal back to the ocean using a hydrophone. The whale had returned to the ocean on Sunday, according to authorities, ABC reported.
