Dramatic footage has emerged from Sao Paulo, Brazil, of a police raid in 'Crackland', an area of the city where crack cocaine has reportedly been sold and consumed freely for years.
The video, captured on May 21, shows heavily armed police confronting residents firing what appears to be rubber-coated bullets and later detaining people.
According to reports, 38 people were arrested for drug trafficking offences and only one person got injured during the operation in which 900 officers were deployed.
