DIY FLAMELESS ARC LIGHTER MADE FROM LCD MONITOR INVERTER AND K3569 MOSFET 9V

Views 6

I saw a few videos on these and thought id make one out of a trashed lcd tv and mosfets from a power supply, diagram is super super simple.. sorry it goes off the bottom, drain (2nd from left) goes to coil For some reason which I don't quite understand, the hefty transistor, aka mosfet actually keeps turning on and off and oscillates when hooked up like this, the positive goes in the center tap on the primary coil... Two mosfets can be used to drive like this but one seems to work okay and works out cheaper when you get greedy and hook it to a bigger battery with no resistor and blow it. Careful it probably hurts if you get shocked, it can light bulbs and tubes, and is the basis for AC inverter circuits and inductance generators aka EMP, and also transmitter circuits. play safe out there! As you see it lights copier paper, theres a technique just keep it moving slowly! Also a solar panel would make this 'an eternal lighter' great for survival fire lighting, or just the old gas cooker!! JAH RASTAFARI
