Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today said he was reading Upanishads and the Bhagwad Gita to take on the RSS and BJP. ''Nowadays I study the Upanishads and the Gita since Iam fighting the RSS and BJP'', he said addressing party functionaries here.

ആര്‍എസ്എസിന്റെയും ബിജെപിയെയും എതിരിടാന്‍ ഭഗവത് ഗീതയും ഉപനിഷത്തുകളും പഠിക്കുകയാണെന്ന് കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് ഉപാധ്യക്ഷന്‍ രാഹുല്‍ ഗാന്ധി. എല്ലാവരെയും ഒരുപോലെ കാണണമെന്നാണ് ഉപനിഷത്തകള്‍ പറയുന്നതെങ്കിലും ജനങ്ങളെ ആര്‍എസ്എസ് അടിച്ചമര്‍ത്തുകയാണെന്ന് രാഹുല്‍ ആരോപിച്ചു. ചെന്നൈയില്‍ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് പ്രവര്‍ത്തകരുടെ യോഗത്തില്‍ സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു രാഹുല്‍. തമിഴ് സംസ്‌കാരത്തെ അടുത്തറിയാനായി തമിഴ് സിനിമകള്‍ കാണുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും രാഹുല്‍ ഗാന്ധി പറഞ്ഞു.
