A tornado briefly touched down at around 5pm on Friday, June 2, in the town of Three Hills, Alberta.
The tornado was moving east at over 30 mph, according to reports, and nearby Morrin and Rowley were in the twister’s path. Twenty-seven minutes after the alert was first issued, Alberta Emergency officials reported the tornado threat was over.
Hail was also seen falling as the tornado swirled through the small town. CTV reported a barn roof was damaged in the storm.
