Firefighters on June 7 were battling a 300 acre fire just outside of Sequoia National Park in Tulare County, California.
According to CAL FIRE, a voluntary evacuation was in place for homes in the Three Rivers area, northeast of Lake Kaweah in Tulare County. An evacuation center was opened at the Community Presbyterian Church.
