The second son of former Prime Minister Muammar Gaddafi, Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, was reportedly freed by an armed group. The younger Gaddafi was held as a prisoner in the town of Zintan, after rebel militia seized parts of Libya following his father's death. The Abu Bakr al-Siddiq Battalion announced that Gaddafi was released on Friday. Gaddafi is reportedly on his way to another Libyan city, which remains unknown due to security reasons.
