Utah has so many unique landscapes and features, and the Great Salt Lake is certainly one of them. Imagine the surprise of the pioneers who settled the Salt Lake valley when they discovered this huge body of water was more salty than the ocean! In a land where water is scarce, it must have been quite the disappointment.
