The Cauvery Monitoring Committee Meeting with the Chief Secretaries and representatives of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry was held today. The committee was to hear to the facts and read the figures presented by the three states before deciding the future course. Karnataka as a whole had been waiting for the final ordeal with expectant eyes. The committee's verdict is finally out only to add to the pains of Karnataka. GoK has now been ordered to release 3000 cusecs of water everyday for 10 days from Sep 21st to 30th.
