The Wonder Woman film has been riding high ever since it broke box office records. Gal Gadot and company carried the superhero film to more than 500 million in ticket sales so far, and it’s only sure to grow from there.

Oddly enough, things aren’t going so well for Joss Whedon… who had been trying to get his own Wonder Woman film made since 2006. His script for the movie – which was not used by director Patty Jenkins – made its way online.

And film fans are skewering him for his efforts.

There are twitter posts calling it sexiest and terrible, godawful and cringe worthy, and more about Steve than Wonder Woman herself.

One user gave a shout out to whatever kind merciful soul rejected his script.

We should point out that there’s no actual proof the script was written by Joss, and he has yet to address to criticism.

But people are thanking their lucky stars this version of the film never got made.

Only thing is, he’s the guy in charge of the upcoming Batgirl flick… so some folks are little bit worried.

Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
