Learn how to make Crispy Maharashtrian Style Bombil fry or Bombay Duck Fry at home on Variety Vantalu.
Ingredients:
5-6 pieces of Bombil (Bombay Duck)/ బొంబాయ్ డక్ / వనమట్టాలు
1 1/2 tbsp Ginger-Garlic-Green Chillies-Coriander Leaves Paste/ అల్లం-వెల్లుల్లి-పచ్చి మిర్చి -కొత్తిమీర పేస్ట్
1 tsp Mix Masala/ మిక్స్ మసాలా
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder/ పసుపు
Salt to taste/ ఉప్పు
2-3 tbsp Oil / నూనె
4-5 tbsp Rava/ Semolina/ రవ్వ
2 tbsp Maida/ మైదా పిండి
Method:
-In a bowl, add bombil pieces, ginger-garlic-green chillies-coriander paste.
-Then add mix masala, turmeric powder & salt. Mix everything well. -Make sure the bombil pieces are well marinated.
-To fry, heat some oil in a pan.
-In a plate, add rava & maida. Coat the fish pieces with maida & rava mixture.
-Once the oil is hot, fry the fish till golden brown on both the sides.
-Serve hot.
