At this past year’s Cinema Con, Spider-Man Homecoming producer Amy Pascal revealed the character was only contracted to appear in Homecoming, two Avengers movies and one sequel after Homecoming. This was later confirmed by MCU head honcho Kevin Feige soon after. However, if Tom Holland is to be believed, it looks as though Spider-Man will go for at least one more movie after the Homecoming sequel to complete a trilogy. In an interview with AlloCine, Tom Holland apparently let slip that there may be more movies after the Homecoming sequel.
Variety is reporting that Woody Allen’s next film has found a very Oscar friendly release date. The trade has learned that his drama entitled Wonder Wheel will debut in limited release on December 1st this year, just in time for an awards’ qualifying run, before opening wide later in January. The film is set in Coney Island during the 1950s, with a logline that reads: “larger-than-life characters, lovers, infidelity, and gangsters.” It stars Jim Belushi, Juno Temple, Justin Timberlake, and Kate Winslet.

After debuting at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, the first trailer for the indie comedy Brigsby Bear has finally landed online. The movie stars Kyle Mooney and Mark Hamill, with Mooney starring as a young man who grew up watching an educational children’s television program called Brigsby Bear Adventures. His life is then thrown into upheaval when he learns his parents actually kidnapped him as a baby and raised him in an underground bunker secluded from the rest of the world.
Mission Impossible 6 writer/director Christopher McQuarrie took to Instagram yesterday to reveal that Michelle Monaghan, whose character married Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible III and who made another appearance in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, is returning for Paramount and Skydance’s next chapter in the franchise.
Variety is reporting that Jeremy Renner, Isla Fisher Ed Helms, and Hannibal Buress have all signed on for the New Line comedy entitled Tag; joining the already signed Jake Johnson, Jon Hamm, Annabelle Wallis, and Rashida Jones. The movie is based on Russell Adams’ 2013 story in The Wall Street Journal titled “Tag, He’s ‘It’ for Another Year,” about a group of friends who have been playing a cutthroat version of the children’s game for the last 30 years.
