There would be a nation wide protest by central government employees starting from the July 1 against the HRA recommendations made as per the 7th pay commission The demand of the employees to restore HRA to 30, 20 and 10% was denied .Date of effect for allowances is fixed as July 1 , 2017 denying 18 months arrears.
