China just accused the United States of a “serious political and military provocation”. The statement came after an American warship sailed by the disputed Triton Island in the South China Sea. China said the U.S. trespassed without asking permission from China before entering the waters. The incident happened only several hours before President Trump's phone call with Chinese President Xi Jinping Sunday night.
