Lena Dunham is putting her wardrobe up for a good cause.
The Girls star – who is a vocal advocate of many causes – is teaming up with Planned Parenthood to make sure the clothes in her closet can help others.
She told the New York Times that she’s putting 169 pieces of clothing from her personal collection up for sale on the consignment site The Real Real… with nearly her 70 % commission rate going to the women’s health organization.
The items up for sale will range from size 4 to a size 12… and even the gown she wors to the 2017 Met Gala Ball will be up for sale. The asking price for that dress is only 4 thousand.
She told the publication that she’d been carrying around a lot of crap and thought she was going to hoard all of her clothes for her future daughter… but she said she may end up with an adopted son or a daughter who doesn’t identify with her gender at birth.
Each purchase will come with a note from Lena that documented her experience wearing the piece.
