President Trump is getting sued for blocking Twitter users by a First Amendment group, The Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University sent a letter to the president last month, asking that two of their clients be unblocked.
Jameel Jaffer, the Knight Institute’s executive director, said in the letter. “The White House acts unlawfully when it excludes people from this forum simply because they’ve disagreed with the president.” The President has more than 33 million followers on his @realDonaldTrump Twitter feed, and the microblogging site has become his primary way to communicate with Americans and rest of the world.
