Nice has paid tribute to the 86 people who died when a Tunisian man drove a truck at a crowd on the waterfront a year ago.

President Emmanuel Macron, fresh from Bastille Day celebrations with Donald Trump in Paris, gave a speech in which he said he understood criticism of state aid for victims of the carnage.
