More than seven million pounds of Sabrett-brand hot dogs were recalled this weekend. The hot dogs may be contaminated with "extraneous materials" after consumers complained of discovering bone fragments. According to USDA's Food and Safety Administration, someone even reported an "oral injury" after eating a hot dog. "Sabrett deeply regrets any concern or inconvenience this has caused its loyal customers," Sabrett statement.
