British army officer Rupert Jones, the deputy commander of the global coalition fighting against Islamic State (IS), visited north Raqqa province on July 23.
Jones met with the Raqqa civil council in the town of Ain Issa to discuss the latest updates and the cooperation to run the city after its recapture from IS by Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), according to a Kurdish outlet.
