LONDON: A 27-year-old Pakistani youth has been honoured with ‘Engineer of the Year’ award in the United Kingdom for his contributions to the energy sector.

Awarded by Energy UK’s Young Energy Professionals Forum (YEP), Hamza Haroon was shortlisted with two other candidates in the nominations for ‘Engineer of the Year’. According to YEP, this award is given to an individual who has developed and successfully applied engineering expertise to deliver solutions.
