Russian President Vladimir Putin is planning on cutting the size of the U.S. diplomatic force in his country by more than half. Putin will cut staff members from 1,210 to about 455 people. "The personnel of the U.S. diplomatic missions in Russia will be cut by 755 people and will now equal the number of the Russian diplomatic personnel in the United States," Putin said in a TV interview Putin's remarks came only hours after Russia's deputy foreign minister said the country's retaliation to U.S. sanctions is overdue.
