A partial lunar eclipse occurred on August 7 as the moon passed through part of Earth’s shadow.

This footage, described by the uploader as taken in Jakarta, Indonesia, shows the rare phenomenon, which only happens when the Earth moves between the moon and the sun and the three are not perfectly aligned.
