After the information of the bomb at 12317 Up Akaltakht Express train traveling from Calcutta to Amritsar, there was a stir. At about 1 a.m. on the train B-3 was informed about the bomb in such a coach, after which it was stopped beside the Akbarganj halt near Amethi's Inhana.

कलकत्ता से अमृतसर को जाने वाली 12317 अप अकालतख्त एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन में बम की सूचना के बाद हड़कंप मच गया । देर रात करीब 1 बजे ट्रेन के बी-3 ऐसी कोच में बम की सूचना थी, जिसके बाद इसे अमेठी के इन्हौना के पास अकबरगंज हाल्ट के पास रोका गया.
