Elected Senate majority floor leader for the third time in his career, Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III continues to play an important role in the upper chamber, especially after he helped secure the position of the current Senate president.

Sotto, who has also weighed in on the reimposition of the death penalty and plans to amend the Philippine Constitution, sat down with INQUIRER.net through the weekly interview show INQ&A last August 9 to discuss Senate dynamics and the prospects of certain important legislation.
