A funny video has emerged of YouTuber Viva Frei trying to mix an energy drink in his smoothie to combine healthiness and energy in the same beverage.

In the footage, shot on July 23 at his home in Montreal, Canada, Viva Frei first blends red fruits with ice to make a smoothie and adds a can of Red Bull to the mixture.

"Tastes great, and gives you the energy you need to keep parenting," he wrote online.

"Just make sure not to blend the smoothie with the Red Bull, as this will kill any carbonation," he added.
