Felix is learning card tricks when the story begins. After magically making the cards huge, he jumps inside the deck and has a big adventure in which the cards are alive. When the Queen gives Felix a meal, he wants to pay her back and goes diamond mining. However, this upsets the King of Diamonds and all sorts of craziness erupts.
