Day 19: Today we are checking out the Raglan Eel Farm for our activity of the day on New Zealand's Biggest Gap Year!
About this video:
We are in the super surf town of Raglan, New Zealand! But before we hit any waves, we have been recommended to check out the Raglan Eel Farm.
Because we are off the beaten path a bit, finding the Raglan Eel Farm is a task in itself by following some weird directions to get there. Nevertheless, we find a lady called Jan and her eel farm where we learn more about her sustainable eel farm, an more importantly, feed the eels ourselves!
After feeding the eels at the Raglan Eel Farm, we head on back to our budget accommodation: the Raglan Backpackers for a nice soak in the hot pool. That evening, we join some of our fellow hostel dwellers for a pub quiz!
Tomorrow, we are surfing in Raglan don’t miss that!
