7. The Leopard Boy, India, 1912.\r
\r
This boy was two when he was taken in by a Leopardess and raised with her cubs. The Leopardess was shot when the boy was five, and he was returned to his family in a small village in India. He could run fast on all fours, and he bit and fought with everyone who came near him. He couldnt speak, but only grunted and growled.\r
After years spent back among humans, he learned to speak and walk upright. He later became blind from catars, a condition he inherited from his human family.\r

6. Sujit Kumar, Fiji, 1978 \r

Sujit Kumar, or “Chicken nuggets” as they liked to call him, was locked in a chicken coop in Fiji for most of his childhood. After his mother committed suicide and his father was murdered, he was left in the care of his grandfather, who kept him in the coop. He later escaped, or “flew the coop” if you will. He was found lying in the middle of the road he was taken to an old peoples home. He would crouch on a chair and peck at his food, and make rapid clicking noises with his tongue. He was also very aggressive, so they decided to just tie him to a bed for the next 20 years.\r
He is now 30 and cared for by a woman who rescued him from the home.\r
5. Kamala and Amala, India, 1920.\r

Kamala,11, and Amala, 7, were found in a cave by a Reverend. He saw them, noting that they ran on all fours and didnt look like human children.He captured them and took them home, where they slept curled up together, and rejected cooked food. They were physically deformed and had no interest in human interion, but their hearing, sense of smell and sight was exceptional. They seemed to be insensitive to cold and heat.\r
Amala died the a few years after capture from tuberculosis. Kamala learned to walk upright and say a few words but died at age 17 of kidney failure.\r
4. Ivan Mishukov, Russia, 1998.\r

Ivan ran away to escape his crazy mother and alcoholic boyfriend at the age of 4. He begged in the streets, and shared the food he begged with the dogs. Eventually, the dogs learned to trust him, and protected him on the streets. After two years, in 1998, he was noticed by Moscow police, caught and placed in a childrens home. It took the police three tries to catch him because the dogs kept protecting him. He recovered in a relatively short period of time, and now serves in the Russian army. Luckily every dog has his day.\r
3. Marie Angelique Memmie Le Blanc (The Wild Girl of Champagne), France, 1731.\r

Marie was a native American girl who was reportedly brought to France via Canada in 1720. Unfortunately the french lady who brought her died of the Bubonic plague upon arrival. Since she was stranded alone in a foreign country she fled to the forests for ten years, Walked thousands of miles through the forests of France. She protected herself with a large club, and a pole that had a piece of metal attached to the end.\r
She was caught at the age of 19, and surprisingly was able to learn how to read and write again. After her rebirth she became a nun.\r
2. John Ssebunya (The Monkey Boy), Uganda, 1991.\r

John fled to the jungle to live with monkeys after he saw his father murder his mother. Three years later he was captured, aged six. At the time of his capture he was covered in hair, and only ate roots and berries. He also had a severe case of intestinal worms, some over 4 meters long.\r
He later has learned to talk, and is grateful that the monkeys became his friend. He says that they gave him a chance to meet humans that could help him.he catches nuances, listens carefully, is fit and fast and now is travelling Britain as part of the 20-strong Pearl of Africa Childrens Choir, run by Pauls organisation A.F.R.I.C.A. (Association for Relief and Instruction of Children in Africa). He is, however, undoubtedly still traumatised. 1.Marina Chapman, Colombia, 1959.\r

Marina Chapman overcame many struggles in her life, starting at a very young age. She was kidnapped at age four, left in the jungle by her captors and ended up following a pack of capuchin monkeys through the jungle for several years. During this time, she forgot her native language, and adopted many of the monkeys behavioral patterns.\r
She was rescued by two hunters who promptly sold her to a brothel. She soon escaped and lived as a street urchin for a time. Later she was enslaved by a mafia family! Luckily, she was saved by her neighbour, who sent her to live in Bogota with one of her daughters. She was eventually hired as a housekeeper by a family that moved to the UK, where she is now happily married with children. She co-authored a book with her daughter
