Dramatic footage showing the bare sea bed after the sea retreated from Long Island in the Bahamas has gone viral on social media.

Meteorologists Brad Panovich of WCNC and Angela Fritz of the Washington Post explained Hurricane Irma was responsible, as it sucked water towards its center.
