President Trump lashed out at Hillary Clinton via a series of tweets Wednesday night.
Hillary Clinton has been making headlines this week for the release of her new book, 'What Happened,' in which she reflects on the 2016 election.
President Trump lashed out at Clinton Wednesday night in the wake of her many critical comments about him during various promotional interviews covering the book.
"Crooked Hillary Clinton blames everybody (and every thing) but herself for her election loss. She lost the debates and lost her direction," Trump tweeted. "The 'deplorables' came back to haunt Hillary. They expressed their feelings loud and clear. She spent big money but, in the end, had no game!"
In the book, Clinton refers to Trump as a “clear and present danger to the country and the world,” and goes on to say about his presidency, “I sometimes wonder: If you add together his time spent on golf, Twitter and cable news, what’s left?”
When asked about Clinton's assertions in the book and interviews, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said during Wednesday's briefing that Clinton is "pushing a book with a lot of false narratives," as well as, "placing blame on a lot of other people instead of accepting it herself."
