Reports are coming out as BJP state general secretary Sobha surendran will not enter the fray in the Vengara by-poll. The BJP core committee and the NDA meetings decided that K N Janachandran master will be the candidate for NDA.

വേങ്ങര നിയമസഭാ ഉപതെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ ബിജെപിയുടെ സ്ഥാനാര്‍ഥിയെ സംബന്ധിച്ച് ധാരണയായതായി റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്. ഏറ്റവുമധികം ഉയര്‍ന്നുകേട്ടിരുന്ന പേര് ശോഭാ സുരേന്ദ്രന്‍റേതാണ്. എന്നാല്‍ വേങ്ങരയില്‍ ശോഭാ സുരേന്ദ്രനെ മത്സരിപ്പിക്കേണ്ട എന്നാണ് ധാരണ. പകരം ബിജെപി മുന്‍ ജില്ലാ പ്രസിഡന്‍റ് കെ എന്‍‌ ജനചന്ദ്രന്‍ മാസ്റ്റര്‍ വേങ്ങരയില്‍ സ്ഥാനാര്‍ഥിയായേക്കും.
