Seven people have already been reported to have been sick from drinking the soda that was laced with methamphetamine. One person died. The drinks were purchased in the Mexicali area and health officials already began removing them from the shelves. Chris Barnes, spokesman for Dr Pepper Snapple Group, assured everyone that these contaminated drinks are not distributed in the U.S. “It is important to check that the seal for any food and drink consumed is still intact and shows no signs of tampering."
