They are absolutely adorable creatures that have charming personalities and a huge amount of intelligence. They are quite possibly as intelligent as we are. \r

5. Walruses have evolved to have no hair like a few other species on the planet. The reason for this is that they live in and around the water. They gave up the hair, which would just make them colder when wet, for an extra layer of fat that cannot get wet. That extra fat protects them from the cold of the arctic ocean waters where they reside.\r

4. Hippos are mostly hairless by nature. They evolved to give up their hair for an extra layer of fat that helps to insulate them from the cold when they are in the water. Some people would say that a hippo is not adorable, but those people just do not know what true cuteness is. Hippos are very cutty with their chubby bodies and their smooth skin. They are also the most dangerous animal in the world, and it would not be recommended to go anywhere near one.\r

3. This little hairless hamster is adorable. Her name is Silky and his owner knitted him a sweater. Hamsters are another animal that we as humans have bred to be hairless. However, these little hairless hamsters are one-hundred percent adorable with cute little faces and little round ears and floppy skin. The owner of this little girl said the reason that they made the sweater for him is because hamsters need a warm environment to live in and honestly, it gets cold when you are hairless. When she is in her cage she does not need the sweater, the sweater is more for special occasions, but man is it adorable. \r

2. A lot of people think naked mole rats look terrifying. They can ually be pretty cute, though. These little guys are naturally hairless; this helps them get around in their small tunnels underground. Their hairless nature helps them sift through the dirt and move through soil with more speed and smoothness than a haired burrowing animal could. \r
These little guys get a bad rap because some people think they look horrifying, but they are cute and deserve recognition for their cute simplicity.\r

1.The human baby is arguably the most popular hairless animal. A lot of people want one, and they come out with little to no hair, all soft and baby-like. In all seriousness, though, babies are born hairless except for maybe a bit of soft, loose hair on the head. Humans are the most populous hairless species on the planet, and even though we do still sport a bit of hair from our primordial past as apes, evolution theorists believe that in another thousand years we will likely be lacking hair altogether.
