The past few months in India have seen a lot of turmoil. The freedom of press, the safety of media persons and journalists & the independence of press seems to be dying. The mainstream media is supposedly right aligned giving little space to free media.

The journalists who wish to speak freely are being threatened or killed. Gauri Lankesh's murder stirred up another heated controversy on the freedom of press in India, which too, has not reached any solid conclusion.

Firing of Hindustan Times Editor & Modi Bhakts taking over the social media to spread propaganda seems to be overshadowing the truth and voice of the free.
