In a bid to end the nightmare caused by the 7th Pay Commission, the Narendra Modi government has given its nod to hike the basic minimum pay. It is now confirmed that the basic minimum pay for 50 lakh Central Government employees and pensioners would rise from the existing Rs 18,000.
