Could this be Netflix for Porsches?
Porsche is launching a subscription service for the ultra-rich and ultra-indecisive. It’s another attempt by automakers to adapt to the sharing economy.
Porsche Passport is a month-to-month program that allows users to swap cars whenever they want, starting at $2,000 a month. Like other programs, an app schedules drop-offs and pick-ups, and subscriptions cover tax and registration, insurance, and maintenance.
Other automakers, such as Cadillac, offer similar programs, marketing to millennials who want to drive more than they want to own.
