This costume is really adaptable, it just depends on your budget, skill levels, and the amount of time you have. Ill be showing you my take on the making of Harley Quinns costume, but check below for some ways you can make it easier or more advanced:\r

If you need to make this outfit for a last minute Halloween costume, you can get the look for really cheap by using things you already own- reuse a long sleeved top you already have, dye the shirt with food colouring instead of buying fabric dye, colour the wig (or your hair) with chalk pastels, left over spray paint, acrylic paint, or whatever you have.\r
You can also adjust this tutorial to make it easier: Buy a pair of shorts and do the same spray painting technique as I showed on the jacket. It wont have the same stretch as making the spandex shorts, but will be really easy, and still recognisable. \r
If you dont mind spending more time and money, you can make the costume more advanced, for example by buying a red and blue jacket, cutting them in half and sewing them together. You could then hand or machine embroider the words on the back. This is what I would do if I wanted to make a dedicated cosplay costume, or something for a suicide squad fan film/music video or something that needed professional quality. \r
