Between 15 and 20 people are believed to be trapped after a landslide occurred about 9am this morning in Tanjung Bungah, Penang.
As of 11am, two people have been rescued and fire and rescue workers are still attempting to reach the estimated 15 to 20 people still trapped in the landslide.
A Penang Fire and Rescue Department Operation Centre spokesman told Bernama the department received a distress call at 8.57am saying that a landslide had occurred at a construction site in Lengkok Lembah Permai.
