A leaking power steering system can put your safety at risk and fixing it can be expensive. But with K&W STEER-X Power Steering Stop Leak, you can fix the problem yourself so you can start driving again, its guaranteed. A power steering leak will show up as oily, pink, red, or clear fluid leaking from the steering rack or pump. You may also hear groaning noises when steering, especially at low speed. STEER-X quickly stops leaks in all power steering systems and it conditions internal components to protect against future leaks. Before you start, get your tools together and read the entire product label. Locate the power steering fluid reservoir and check the fluid level. Some vehicles should be checked with the engine running, some with the engine off. Check your owner’s manual. If necessary, use a turkey baster to remove some fluid- you’ll want to get at least two ounces in. Using your funnel, pour in just enough Steer-X to top off the reservoir. Be careful not to overfill. Replace the reservoir cap. Start your car and turn the steering wheel back and forth a few times to move STEER-X through the system and you’re good to go! Just monitor the leak and keep topping off with STEER-X until the leak stops. So stop leaks and start driving with K&W STEER-X Power Steering Stop Leak.
