Rahul Dravid's son Samit Dravid seems to be going father's way. 12-year old Samit Dravid started following a tight schedule to realise his dream of following in the footsteps of his father.Samit is a right-handed batsman and has already impressed many with his batting exploits. Last year, he hogged the attention after slamming 125 with 22 fours and a six in an Under-14 game. Prior to that, the bespectacled boy had grabbed the attention on several occasions with his runs-tally in inter-school tournaments. One can take a measure of how talented the youngster is from the fact that he has been lauded by none other than the great Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan. Well, its too early to expect anything from Samit but given the way he is climbing the ladders at a fast pace, one can say that he is tailor-made for cricket. With a guidance like his father very much on his side all the time, India can get yet anther dependable Dravid if everything goes well in the coming days.
