குன்னூரில் 15 வயதிற்குட்பட்ட மாணவிகளுக்கு ஆரம்ப சுகாதார நிலையத்தில் பணியாற்றும் செவிலியர்கள் தடுப்பூசி போட்டனர். அப்போது மரியஜோஸ், சரண்யா உள்ளிட்ட நான்கு மாணவிகள் மயக்கம் அடைந்தனர். மயக்கம் அடைந்த மாணவிகள் மேல் சிகிச்சைகாக மருத்துவமனையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர். மாணவிகள் மயக்கம் அடைந்த சம்பவம் குன்னூரில் பரபரப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
