सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने किसी तरह का कोई भी टेक्निकल कोर्स कॉरेस्पोन्डेन्स मोड से नहीं होगा। ओडिशा हाईकोर्ट के फैसले को खारिज करते हुए सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा है कि तकनीकि शिक्षा दूरस्थ पाठ्यक्रम और माध्यम से नहीं उपलब्ध कराया जा सकता है। इससे पहले ओडिशा हाई कोर्ट ने टेक्निकल कोर्सेज को कॉरेस्पोन्डेन्स मोड से कराने की मंजूरी दी थी। गौरतलब है कि इंजीनियरिंग, मैनेजमेंट, फार्मेसी, मेडिकल समेत कई ऐसे कोर्सेज हैं जिसे टेक्निकल कोर्स कहा जाता है और इनके कॉरेस्पोन्डेन्स मोड पर रोक लगा दी गई है।
