MS Dhoni once again showed his cool headedness and supremacy behind the stumps when he ran out Tom Bruce in a dramatic fashion. The incident happened in the seventh over when New Zealand needed 20 runs from the last 7 balls in pursuit of 68. Jasprit Bumrah was bowling the seventh over and on the penultimate delivery, he bowled one outside off. Bruce tried to reverse sweep it but missed it. However, with runs being the need of the hour, he ran for a single. In the meantime, Dhoni threw the ball to Bumrah who was standing in the middle of the pitch. However, the pacer missed to hit the stumps at the bowler’s end before Hardik Pandya came in from mid-on and threw the ball to Dhoni who did the rest.
