Obamacare sign-ups rose in consecutive years. The Hill reports that more than 200,000 people selected an Obamacare plan on the first day of enrollment, compared to the roughly 100,000 for the same day last year. Visits to Healthcare.gov also increased, with 1 million people checking out the site this year, compared to the 750,000 visitors the site saw in 2016. The news comes following reports of the Trump administration cutting the budget for advertising and outreach.
