Meet the man who rescues the animals everyone else fears.
Shavaran Krishnan has been rescuing animals such as snakes, bats, and hawks for eight years, even dropping out of college to focus full-time on animal rescue. He rehabilitates the animals, releases them back into the wild, and helps strays get adopted.
Krishnan finances the rescue work by running a dog-sitting service called "Hotel For Dogs." He's also hoping to expand his activities to animal welfare education in Indian schools, so he can spread the word about protecting the country's wild animals.
