Van life on the road is great when you get to take a moment to smell the proverbial roses. After stealth camping in San Diego for the night, today I had the good fortune to take time enough to head over to Imperial Beach a San Diego metro beach town just South of the city. I decided to make my first trip to Imperial Beach be a stop off at Imperial Beach Pier which faces directly out into the Pacific Ocean rather than into San Diego Bay.

I just flat woke up this morning feeling like a million bucks and decided to run some errands before I headed off to the beach. I stopped in and reactivated my Planet Fitness account that got cancelled awhile back when money was really tight. I also made a stop into Wells Fargo to deposit my check before I took a nice long hot shower. Boy did that feel good. Made for an even better day which was perfect for enjoying a little bit of beach time.

After checking out Imperial Beach Pier I stopped to try the new Jack In The Box Ribeye burgers. Very good stuff I have to say. I tried both types and enjoyed the one with grilled onions the most and felt that it was likely burgers made out of ground Ribeye trimmings. As it did taste similar to ribeye steak. I messed up my eating plan a little, but just had to try those new ribeye sandwiches.

After having a bite to eat I headed off to work for a few hours before sitting down and editing this video of Imperial Beach for all of you to enjoy. Today was a good day to be enjoying van life on the road.
